sister and i were walking around, hungry as ever, trying to find anything to eat before we ventured off to do more things in the city stumbled upon this place and said menu looks good, let's go! went for late lunch on a thursday around 3-4 PM, we're seated promptly. service was average speed, not too fast but also not too slow, twas a thursday afternoon, no need to rush anything! such a fun funky little place, the vibe was very cool and relaxed, there's always something new to look at or read that you didn't seem before, like a big where's waldo! browsed the menu and we settled on the bowls, my sister got something to do with chicken and some other stuff--not sure, didn't care much but it's pictured below, she enjoyed it heavily and i got the fried chicken and johnnycake bowl--which was devoured in mere moments as i couldn't even get a picture. literally f-ing BOMB. had a ricotta topping and the chicken was GOOD! came with syrup and it was absolutely amazing! i honestly came in with low expectations as i didn't do any prior research, which i like to do before going somewhere to eat but im glad i went in blindly because i was impressed! price wasn't shabby either! ($62 for 2 entrees, 1 coffee, and 1 cocktail), especially for some good food that filled us up quick! definitely will return next time we're back in NYC!!

Happy vibes for happy hour- it's a great date spot, music isn't too loud and the menu is good. Happy hour is everyday from 5-6:30. Service is quick and friendly. I like their $5 lager and street corn salsa. Can't wait to come back!

Went on a Sunday for brunch with a group. We had a reservation and they were cool about seating people while waiting for the rest of the party. Our waitress was attentive, nice, and considerate. She had good suggestions. We split a fried artichoke for the table, which was a great app. Would recommend. Rest of the food was typical brunch fare, which grey dog does solidly but not anything too special. Overall it's a good spot for a brunch, the vibes are fun in there. Like a sports bar turned brunch spot

I came here for a quick dinner and shared the grilled cheese and tomato soup appetizer and ordered the turkey, apple, bacon jam, and Swiss sandwich! The food was pretty good but was a little underwhelming, think a slightly healthier, elevated bar food. The fries were decent too! Overall I feel like everything it the tomato soup was lacking a little extra something. Cute interior and friendly staff though!

Good vibes at The Grey Dog - Nolita! Vegan burger was greasy but good. The turkey bacon club was delicious but messy. Loved the wings and Brussels sprouts. Nice variety of drinks and food on the menu. Our waiter got our orders in quickly, but only checked on us once. Would recommend this spot for a catch up with friends or a second or third date - inside and outside seating.
